Hand Made in NYC
Directly inspired by a fragment from the Cuerdale Hoard, this necklace replicates an authentic 900AD Viking silver treasure buried in Lancashire, England.
Stamping into flattened silver was a basic and well-used Viking Age technique. Many jewelry pieces are decorated with patterns of triangles, dashes, and dots made by hammering the top of a shaped die into the surface of the metal.
This solid sterling silver pendant is nearly 3 inches long and hangs from a 24 inch thick rope chain.
Each piece is hand made from start to finish by a small team in NYC, USA
